First Aid Training Courses

1.1 Once payment is made this is considered acceptance of our booking conditions and official registration on the course you have selected.

1.3 Rescheduling a booking date after a booking is made is treated the same as a cancellation and all cancellation and refund terms apply. This is due to the commitment made by instructors and venues to the original dates and the loss of earnings related to any changes.

1.3 First Aid Bristol reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses without penalty or liability for reasons outside its control. First Aid Bristol will try to notify participants as soon as reasonably possible if a course must be cancelled or moved. We will always work with you to secure new dates that are convenient.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 The Buyer can cancel their first aid course at any time.

• A full refund minus a £10 administration fee will be granted if a cancellation is made any time up to 10 full days before the day of your course.
• Between 10 days and 4 days prior to your course date then a 50% refund will be granted.
• If within 3 full days prior of your booked course date then no refund will be granted.

2.2 Participant substitutions can be accepted, without charge, at any time provided that the substitute fulfils the course requirement.

Qualifications of Participants

3.1 Registrants on qualification courses should note the following. Successful completion of such courses requires participants to demonstrate an understanding of the underlying principles plus competence in the techniques being taught in each module. Whilst First Aid Bristol will make every reasonable effort to ensure a high standard of training and impartiality in such awards, no guarantee is given that every participant attending will receive such qualification.

General

4.1 First Aid Bristol uphold the training guidelines as established by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and has a duty to change and/or update the training courses in line with the standards as laid down by the HSE. We will update our training material when information is affected by new standards and provide suitable guidance in accordance. We do not accept liability for any changes to the course.

4.2 Prices and specifications of Training and Services are correct at the time of publication on our website or other relevant literature, however they are subject to change without notice.

4.3 You agree to provide us promptly with such information as we may reasonably require from you in connection with the provision of our services.

4.4 We will not be liable for any indirect special or consequential loss (including, without limitation, loss of turnover or profit, goodwill anticipated savings and expenditure). In any other case, save for fraud or wilful default on our part and save also for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability, whether arising under contract, tort or under statute or otherwise, shall be limited to direct losses suffered by you as a result of our acts or omissions and shall not exceed the amount of our charges for the course in connection with which the claim arises.

4.5 No variations to these terms and conditions shall have any effect unless agreed in writing by a director of First Aid Bristol.

4.6 Variation. These terms and conditions shall apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including any that you attempt to apply under any purchase order, booking confirmation or any other document; and, no variation of these terms and conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed on behalf of First Aid Bristol by one of its directors.

4.7 First Aid Bristol reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions as laid out in this document, without prior notice.

4.8 In 2013, the HSE deregulated the first aid training industry. As a result, we no longer provide externally regulated courses. Some older organisations may still require these qualifications, so if this applies to you, please contact us before booking and we will be able to suggest other providers. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a regulated qualification retrospectively. It is your responsibility to book the appropriate course.
