Emergency Outdoor First Aid
Emergency Outdoor First Aid | Level 3 - 1 day course
It is now a requirement of Health & Safety law that all employers provide their staff with a safe environment to work in. During your risk assessment, if it highlights a need for qualified first aiders, then a 1 day or 2 day outdoor first aid qualification will be required if you work in the outdoors.
This course is very practical and we use scenarios to reinforce the learning which empowers candidates to act in first aid emergencies in the outdoors. Where possible scenarios will take place outside and candidates will learn how to deal with emergencies where no other help is immediately available. Instructors have much experience with real life emergencies and they bring this knowledge to the classroom.
This 1-day course is designed to give the individual a grounding in remote medicine. This course exceeds the recommendations by the HSE Emergency First Aid at Work course and is valid for a period of 3 years.
If you are instructor looking to gain a qualification for a job in the outdoors then you will most likely need to attend one of our 2 Day Outdoor First Aid courses. This course runs for 16 hours over 2 days and exceeds the requirements and syllabus of all major outdoor governing bodies. If you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch.
