First Aid for Mental Health
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition. A family member, a friend, a colleague or even yourself.
Everyone is welcome to attend this course but it has been tailored to help employers create a positive mental health culture within the workplace. This course will provide learners with comprehensive understanding on a broad range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act.
Participants of this course can be qualified First Aiders for Mental Health and can be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those in need.
This course develops skills which enables participants to provide their peers with comprehensive support and guidance for a suspected condition. Learners will be able to provide guidance to professional help and aid that person during professional assistance.
