Where to Take CPR and First Aid Classes
Have you ever watched a TV programme where someone is given CPR treatment to save their life and wondered whether you could do that? CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation to give its correct title, is a dramatic but effective way of treating a person who has become unresponsive and is in cardiac difficulty.
CPR is something that almost anyone can do providing they have received the correct training in the technique and CPR training along with AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training often goes hand in hand with first aid training. If this interests you then you’ll no doubt be wondering where to take CPR and first aid classes.
First aid and CPR can help to give vital medical assistance to someone who is hurt or suffering a sudden illness and who requires immediate help to prevent a worsening of the situation prior to receiving professional assistance from the emergency services. In other words you could, by knowing how to use CPR effectively, gain crucial minutes in helping to save someone’s life.

Basic first aid concepts can be picked up from books, but when it comes to something as crucial as CPR you have to know the correct technique in order to get it right.
When you learn about CPR and first aid in a formal class you will be taught using simulated scenarios of real emergency situations under the supervision of an accredited instructor. When you are taught about the correct way to treat a person who is ill, injured or unresponsive you can gain valuable time and information to pass on to an emergency paramedic and give the patient a better chance of recovery.
We run Basic Life Support course every 2 weeks and anyone is welcome to join one of these training courses. It will teach you everything you need to know in order to effectively deliver emergency response and CPR.
